I love this family of majestic flowers with their heads nodding as if they're dancing in the wind. Their name 'Iris' originates from a Greek word that translates to 'rainbow' which is only fitting considering they come in a wide range of colors and varieties. It’s just like within a family, we see so many different personalities and traits and yet we are one of a kind. Every spring these gorgeous blooms form a lovely patch in my garden and I try to capture their essence on canvas.
